Picked up my new Vrs Hatchback today. It is great and drives better than expected. Spec as below;

 

Diesel, DSG, Candy Whit

Winter Pack (seats, windscreen, heated wiper nozzles)

Spare tyre

Tints from B pillar (locally done)

Simply Clever Pack (reversible boot mat, phone holder and waste bin

Black Pack

 

Only minor disappointment was that I had no Vrs button, it simply says Mode on mine. I will try and get dealer to retro-fit.  I know it works the same, but its not the point.

 

I actually liked the noise generator, unlike some others.  Cant wait to run it in.  Gearbox is smooth and did around 120 miles today, with stated mpg of 46mpg.

Thing with it saying mode. I can see a passenger saying, "what's this for" as they press it. The radio on my current Octy has a "mode" button,but at least its ON the radio so gives some sort of clue. To me "Vrs" means what's this for before they touch it. (Very Rapidly Skyward) could be the reply (ejector seat) keep off. Maybe one day a Vrs cover might appear on eBay......

Yep vRS button doesn't exist unfortunately. The way the button works wouldn't really go well with it having the vRS logo on it the button the lights up in any mode other than normal so when in 'Eco' the button would be lit up which is just odd....

Picked up new vRS today, 16 weeks from order.
