Vague steering

Featured Replies

So just had mot and asked him to look at wish bones apparently aio

But the steering is deffinately vague and tends to track easily there's also a very slight knock on dry steering

I'm thinking track rod ends or poss still wish bones any idea????

Mine is/was a bit like this on long sweeping bends. It might just be my imagine but since having a wheel bearing done its a lot better.

Have you had a 4 wheel alignment done yet?, made a big difference to mine once done.

No I haven't but tyre wear is spot on making me think it's something mechanical

do you have play in steering column?

Hard to say but not a lot if there is, the car has only done 64k so I'm hoping its not a rack

if the play is in the rack is simple, you can tight the nut a bit and will gone

If is in the column you need a new one
