Hi all,

I am starting to do a lot of miles again, 1000 + and thinking of changing the Skoda. Looking for a motorway cruiser. Anyone had much experience with passats? I was quite interested in this one: but a bit unsure about the miles it has done

Do you know that a superb mk1 is based on the passat? Think they're cheaper than passats.

I used to drive company Passats when I had my MKI Superb and boy was I glad to get back into the Superb to go home... much better IMO.

 

Don’t forget that Passats and MKI Superbs will ALL suffer from the water ingress through the pollen filter if preventative action is not taken.

Yep its pretty much the same thing, although more expensive (the passat that is) in pretty much every way (parts, insurance, purchase costs)

Ill have a look at the superb's as well then, just thought this Passat, was going cheap
