NOT lowering the octavia vrs

Featured Replies

it seems that it's going to be impractical to lower my vrs, without a new drive.

so i'm thinking of whacking on a set of anti roll bars.anyone gone down this route?(just anti rol bars)

also thinking of a set of new standard right height springs and dampers, are the 2 versions of the vrs on the same set?thinking someone out there with a new current version of the vrs putting on some coilovers may have some going cheap ;)

cheers

jason

I was thinking of just doing the anti roll bars on my TDi estate.. the recommendation seemed to be to go for eibach units, but none are available will November in the uk (iirc)

i have had neuspeed before and they are good.

from experience waiting for eibach on "rare" cars,i wouldn't bother, some of the guys on cupranet were waiting 12months + for eibach to get their finger out.

i'll be sourcing neuspeed rear and R32 front hoepfully.

i read on here about someone only upgrading the ARB's fron and rear and fitting the S3 upper and lower strut braces. apparently the car handled lovely but had the supple ride from the original vRS suspension.

worth a crack i'd say

ColinD has the Neuspeed front and rear ARB plus the Neuspeed lower strut brace.

You may want to try the R32 front arb...not sure of dimension but I guess it's cheaper.

car came with lower s3 brace and top one is not that much moola if threads on here are correct, and also from here R32 front ARB is circa 70-80 quid,so for around 200 squid it could transform the handling without dropping it onto the drive each time i go in and out.

must sort the damping out though, you can certainly feel the difference from when i bought it 12 months ago

Try White-line Suspension For Arb Frt & Rr Not Well Known In Gb But

Heard Theyre Super And Cheaper Than The Competition
