True....

I missed it after having it on my A3 and Scirocco.

I did the same, traded my 170 for a year old 140 with DSG. No regrets.

Ahh bliss! Picked up the new Yeti this morning, the whole process took less than 20 mins, Ridgeay Reading came in specially for me to collect the car, top marks guys. If anything the DSG software is even better than my Scirroco, way after and smoother.

Great drive home to Suffolk, reminded me just how much I'd missed DSG. Did the standard VCDS coding when I got home, the new Bluetooth is much more functional than the 2010 version. Found the correct coding for staging on the new module, it's now called 'instrument celebration' in the adaption table for the instruments.

Hopefully the Octavia DSG wheel will arrive tomorrow so I can get that fitted before I poodle off to get the tuning sorted.

One happy lad!

The Yeti has now been tuned with a 2 channel tuning box (which solves the issue about the locked ecu and dealers re flashing it back to stock) and fitted the Octavia vRs steering wheel with DSG paddles.

Most impressive performance and economy compared to the stock 140.

I'm all ready for the Italian expedition in a few months, can't wait.

Mike did the ‘instrument celebration’ work on your car?

On our’s (June 2014) it is ‘out of range’ (not code able)

Isn't it "indication celebration"?

Yes

TBH I have had a pretty full on day...... That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it lol

It worked on my Dad's FL Yeti, but I seem to remember there was more than one similar sounding option under adaptions.
