hi all sorry if this has been covered before I've just reset the service timer on my 06 petrol vrs and after holding in the reset button two numbers came up.

one with the spanner saying 10600 this is I guess the amount of miles till its next service

the other one was a three digit number with a clock next to it.

has any one got any ideas of what these are

Those three digits with the clock next to them relate to the number of days till the next services Is due

Annual service is 9500 miles (15000kms) so you might see the first number drop quicker than you expect.

Variable servicing is up to 18k or 2 years, it could be less depending on the oil quality.
