Fabia v/RS Speaker Rattle

Featured Replies

Got my fabia mid June very pleased with it cannot complain at all about the car itself just that when i but even the slightest bit of bass through the original speakers the left one seems to buzz or rattle, was just wondering your thoughts as to whether or not I should get the dealer to change them, just put up with it or what.

Cheers.

If one side seems to buzz or rattle move compared to the other then I surgest you get the dealer to fix it. Both doors are the same setup so both should sound the same.

mine does the same - near side speaker..... i told my dealer, but they couldnt hear it! damn!

This might sound really silly as I had the same thing in my Polo once but check the door pocket for any rubbish or crumbs from crisps etc. My girlfriend had a habit of using the door pocket as a bin and I missed a tiny bit of a chocolate wrapper when clearing out and it made a buzzing sound like the speaker was about to blow.

Alternatively soem rubbish or dust may have gotten inside the door so it might be worth taking removing the inner door panel and checking.

Or just take it to the dealer and let them do it :D

I had the same rattle in the passenger door. I took it back to the dealer and it turned out to be the inner door panel (broken clips) so i'm getting a new panel fitted...
