Hello everyone,

I've just registered on the forum today as I'm planning on getting either a VRS Octavia, likely MKI or a Seat Leon Cupra R not right at this moment in time though.

I currently drive a Honda Integra DC5 Type-R which I've have had since May 2013 but it's ended up costing me a lot of money and have just been told it needs a new timing chain so once I fix that I will be on the lookout for one of the above as I want rid of it now, it's costing me too much money.

I'm a bit of a Honda man, prior to buying the Inetgra I had an EK9 Type-R which was a bit of a mish mash of a car. I'd seen a lovely black Octavia VRS for sale as well at the same time but I never test drove it and in the end I opted for the EK9, wish I hadn't now and had gone for the Octavia so have kind of regretted it.

I'm not going to ask loads of questions about these cars as I know what it's like being on a forum and being asked the same old questions by newbie's so I will do a fair bit of research myself first as it's not likely I will be in the market for one for at least another 2-3 months. I've already found the buyers guide and what to look out for which is useful so thank you.

My plan is to sell the DC5 which I should still get 6.5 - 7k for, pay 4 grand off a loan I have and put the remaining funds towards a MK1 VRS. Will anyone have a decent example coming up for sale within the next 3 months or so for up to or around 3k? I think a MKII will be out of my price budget going by what I've read so far.

Thanks.

Marc
