286mm discs

Featured Replies

Has anyone ever found 286mm rear discs for sale anyware else other than via a dealer?

Brembo dont do 286mm discs, nor do ebc or euro car parts

i've literally just found those lol

So, do us tdi owners have to buy petrol discs just so we get the right ones then?

I know Ferodo do them as that's what I bought all round from Opie oils back in 2012. I dont think they sell Ferodo anymore though. (DDF1306) is the disc code.

opie only sell brembo so only suggest 282mm for the tdi vrs and again 282mm for the petrol

Yeh I see they've dropped Ferodo. Google the code ddf1306 though and it does come up with 286mm discs. Was a good offer when Opie started doing brakes (ferodo) as they were selling them at a 25% off offer, I got the lot (front/rear discs and front/rear 'premier' pads) for £162.

just had a look. few places still selling the permier range in that size for our cars.

Quite baffling why so many major companies are making and selling the wrong size

Ebc sent a message saying the 286mm ones are correct for both petrol and turbo. Also they its a common problem they get as skoda keep telling people the wrong size.

I told skodaparts.com they were 286mm and they wouldnt have it lol
