I picked up my new Octavia Elegance 2lt TDI CR on Thursday and have two questions after having looked over the handbooks that came with the car.

 

should there be anything be in the boot on the dirvers side as per the attached photo.

 

the other is should there have been a high vis jacket under the drivers seat as there is nothing there?

 

The reason i ask is that I do not trust the dealer to have put every thing into my car that they should have as the sales person forgot to order the SD card for the sat nav and it was there first new car that they have sold.

I think I have dividers that go along the base of those recesses to let you stack things inside. I'll try to take a pic tomorrow. As far as I know - you don't get the oh vis in the uk.

Is it a combi? If so then you're not missing anything, the straps in the boot are for a warning triangle and first aid kit which aren't included in UK spec cars, neither is a high-vis.

I thought that might be the case but was just wanting to check before I get the SD card for the Sat Nav, if i need to ask for anything else to be given to me. 

No dividers in the estate ! don't worry about the Sat Nav card, thats quite common at the moment, mine only took about 5 days to come through.

I paid for the 'Simply Clever' pack and that only partially arrived.  The mobile holder and reversible boot floor, were there, but no door bin (that I could find!)

 

Are the velcro floor dividers supposed to be included in the estate?  I had them in a demo hatchback I had for a bit.

The mobile phone holder is standard anyway, mine came with one....

 

Nope, no velcro dividers in the combi.

You only get the Velcro bits if you spec canton and get the cubby on the right in the boot on the combi.

Did you get a pouch with 1ltr oil & some wipes as the vertical strap is the same as my Octy, which came with the pouch. I am certain they are supplied standard with the car. As others say no high viz, warning triangle or fire extinguisher as not a legal requirement in the UK.

Would ask the dealer for the oil pouch if you didn't get one.

I took mine straight out as it's a piece of tat, looks like something you'd buy from a petrol station for a quid, I really don't know why they bothered.

No oil or wipes with my vRS combi.
