Skoda Octavia vRS CR TDI DSG Estate - June 2010

Featured Replies

2010 Skoda Octavia vRS CR TDI DSG Estate (10-plate) - £10,500 ono.

In Silver, MFSW, Maxi-dot, paddle-shifters, cruise-control.

It pains me to do this but I'm selling my one family owned vRS.

The car was originally purchased brand-new by my father (on my recommendation) in June 2010 from Griffin Mill Skoda. A job change and having to give up my company car coincided with my father looking to down-size to Citi-Go - I needed a car and the new job dictated a car allowance so couldn't have timed it better.

October 2012 I took possession of the vRS with 31k miles and a full variable Skoda service history. Due to the nature of my job-role, the mileage I do is all motorway visiting clients/partners - I can do 300 miles to a meeting and back in the same day.

The car now sits on 65k miles, effectively 34k miles in 18 months - all motorway. To back this up I can show any interested party my mileage-log which I have to update daily for expenses etc. The reason I mention this is to demonstrate there will be no DPF issues with this car doing short daily commutes.

I'm a 44 year old middle-manager whose car is vital for his job-role so I look after my cars well - hence the car will come with a full breakdown of the servicing (all service receipts are available).

The ONLY non-standard aspect of the car is the Shark Performance Stage 1 re-map I had completed at 40,750 miles (receipt available) on the 07/02/2013 by Shark in Mansfield.

Servicing

26.06.10 - delivery inspection

20.06.11 - 15,836 miles - Griffin Mill Skoda (variable)

03.12.12 - 35,059 miles - Griffin Mill Skoda (variable)

29.04.13 - 46,003 miles - Euro Performance Independent Specialist (fixed)

23.09.13 - 55,924 miles - Euro Performance Independent Specialist (fixed)

03.03.14 - 65,446 miles - Euro Performance Independent Specialist (fixed)

I have the service receipts for all the work carried out for the fixed servicing - I'm a bit old-school and I believe in changing the oil and oil filter every 10k miles - the car has been running on Mobil 1 ESP 5/30 since 46k miles. The above is all stamped in the Skoda Service Schedule. The oil change services were done at 46k & 65k miles respectively.

The major service at 55k miles not only included an oil change but also included a DSG service which constituted new gearbox oil and filter.

The car is taxed and MOT (receipt available along with emissions test) until 01.06.2014.

The body work is in excellent condition other than some minor stone-chips acquired after 4 years of motoring - no dents or ripples on any panels whatsoever. The alloys are in good condition with no major damage, three have slight scuffs with one being completely unmarked. Discs and pads have plenty of life in them.

The car sits on Michelin PS3 on the front (5mm) and Goodyear Asymmetric 2 on the rear (7.5mm) - I have the tyre receipts available, the Asymmetric's were fitted at 63,777 miles and the PS3's were moved to the front axle. Four wheels are aligned - no evidence of uneven tyre wear or feathering.

The interior is completely clean, pet and smoke free, no rips or tears of any description and most importantly no spillages or nasty smells. This car has never been used to transport anything heavy, dirty or smelly. Rubber OEM Skoda mats in both front & rear footwells plus OEM rear boot mat.

Pictures of the car available on request - send me your email and let me know what pictures of the car you are looking for and I'll happily oblige. I can be contacted on 07793980964 if you have any questions.
