Yeti order not plain sailing (Elegance Outdoor alloy choice)

An interesting conversation coming up. SUK customer services & retail support team say there's no reason I can't order a white elegance outdoor with Matterhorn alloys......

I've got a Candy White Elegance Outdoor but I am not a fan of the Matterhorns because I prefer Alloy coloured Alloys,

The front & rear silver bumper panels, mirrors and Origami's all match each other. When you see one in metal it looks much better than the configurator pictures do.

Only had mine 4 days, so I will post some pics of mine when I've taken some. :)

Yes you get everything, but...

You can't spec alcantara.

You can't spec black or sand leather.

You can't choose what wheels you get.

You can't spec a different coloured roof.

And until yesterday, you couldn't spec 170 and DSG together (it was either/or).

All things you CAN spec on the Elegance.

True

like SUK comment around - changing things - i did say ' Literally '   ;)

I wonder if the dealer has something similar to what you ordered coming through the supply line already, and is trying to tempt you to take that car instead. Nothing to stop you ordering from another dealer I guess, or get an email from Skoda CS and take it to the original dealer and show them.

Email just received, after pointing dealer in direction of SUKCS I will be getting matterhorns after all. :)

Got a call from SUKCS today but I wasnt able to get back through to them.

Just to confirm that the Annapurnas are a pig to wash - they have 11 spokes to clean! They look good I think especially on my silver Yeti. But I now think I should have gone for the Origamis.

When we ordered ours I originally wanted Matterhorns but as it was the wife's car she thought they were to boy racer Halfords styling so it was down the the other 2 options. She chose origams but turned out to be too late to change the order so ended up with the Annapurnas. Have to say we are really pleased with them for saying they were our last choice, they give a really classy look imo and look brilliant being polished alloy and very shiny. Although I can understand people saying they are difficult to clean, if you use a good non caustic alloy cleaner the dirt just falls off with a jetwash. I hardly have to use a sponge on them but then again I have used a wheel sealant on them including the insides so brake dust won't stick.

Cheers Kenny. Just ordered one. I normally use a microfibre mitt, but that approach isn't ideally suited to the Origamis.
