Three Sim card not working....help!

Featured Replies

I have ben trying to get my bluetooth working on my car.  Its a 2010 Feb elegance estate diesel.  I have a Samsung S2, works with Virgin Sim card with full signal, pairs connects etc.

When I put my 'Three' simcard in it it pairs and connects but I get no signal and therefore cannot make and calls with it.  I have had a replacement sim card but makes no difference!  There is a good signal when the phone is not connected so its not signal issue.

Any thoughts?

I think I am stuck with the bluetooth not working.

That's a bit of an odd one, have you tried de-registering the S2 Virgin connection from the Columbus system, then starting the registration and pairing procedure from scratch.

I had a similar problem with an S3 phone/same sim combination. I tried everything, a week or two later the phone died. I transferred to my old HTC no problem.

Luckily the S3 has a 3 year warranty, once repaired all returned to normal. Not sure if there's a difference in that I connect via rSAP.

Good luck
