been looking about and from i have seen a full set of polly bushes for the 4x4 is

R32 front ARB works well on the 4x4.

I'll find out how much I can get front wishbones for, might be worth pressing the new bushes into new arms then you can just swap them over.

R32 front ARb fits a treat but understeer is increased as front is then stiffer than the back.

Bespoke rear should be available by the end of the year, Im hoping to get "a man who can" to make one although it wont be cheap, possibly as much as

Agreed but because of the type of Steel needed it isnt cheap, putting it simply if it was ordinaryish steel it would bend too easily on the road but being stiff its hard to bend when you make it. The previous estimate I had from a specialist fabricator was over 1000 as they were going to heat treat the steel to soften it, bend it & then re treat it to get it hard again but it would have been a one off & the treatment was

sounds good then stuart, keep us updated please :)

just 'won' some items on fleabay for the front end (1xupper, 1xlower brace and going to be getting a 2nd lower brace) so would really need the rear stiffening too. was looking at some way of bracing the rear but it doesn't look like an easy job. will the car on a set of ramps to have a good look really

For the front braces you can fit the standard S3 items both upper and lower. For the rear brace I have a contact that I never followed up who can fabricate a quick release item for the struts which will span the boot area.

Keep an eye on the front wishbone bushes as I had a problem with the passenger side one popping out and then wearing the wishbone itself. Powerflex were very good about it though and developed a stronger replacement and also paid for a new wishbone and the labour.

i have got standard S3 upper and lower on the way eddy, also looking at buying a different lower brace that goes between the lower wushbone mounts for greater stiffness.

i would be very interested in your rear brace idea, any more on that?

need to get organising for powerflex bushes and ARB's really

I'll dig out the info on the rear brace and let you know. The guy was waiting for me to take some photo's of the boot area with the carpets out but I never got round to it.
