On my new pre FL VRS TDI, can I delete the EGR with a plate without an EML light coming up? or will it need to be mapped out?

No, you will have to have the light mapped out if you blank the EGR off.

you can get away with putting one in that has a 8mm hole, will let less gasses through and no eml
