Kumho

Featured Replies

Just got 4x kumho 225 40 18's fitted. 320 all in.

Was on a tight budget. These seemed to have good reviews.

Anyone used these? Good/bad .. Ok?

I've been using Kumho's for years and have always found them excellent.

Just started using kumho ..have fitted a set of ku39s to my new set of rims and so far so good.

I too have been using Kumho tyres for quite sometime. I have KU39's on mine and work very well. They don't last any less than the more expensive brands. All I will say is that when they get close to needing changing it's quite noticeable that they need changing (saying that the Continentals I had on from new did the same).

I took the KU39's off my fabia vRS (II) because they were so bad in the dry compared to the maxxis Z1's they replaced.... they ruined the car.(maybe 50% of the grip)  in the wet they were fine.

BUT they do get good reviews, and the fabia II vRS is a very fickle car on tyres...

Got Kumhos on my old Audi, never had a problem. About to put the same brand of tyre on the new Audi.

I have been using KW 27's on my Winter Alloys..

Great winter tyres

Been using kumho for years had them on a pug 306 td vectra Sri dti and now my Octavia. Find them okay in the snow aswell.

Had KU39's on my Mk 1 fabia after being talked into them by some semi pro evo cup guys, I liked them !

V70A is an awesome track tyre but doubt you got 4 for 320. :) one is 130 at best via mail order.

Track tyre??

No mate I'm driving a diesel estate.. To work and the schools :)

The only thing I can tell ya is they cost £320 all in, fitted. 225/40/18

I could go I find the receipt....?

It rains in Belfast.... A lot.. And at the speeds I do to work and school runs etcetera they seem great. I don't do many miles a year, but will get back to you all in hopefully a few years and post how much value for money they were.

I had to drop the wife in city tonight, and actually had my 1st chance to really boot it home up the motorway since the remap and new tyres. Lets just say 'YEA' went well :)

Yes, more likely to have been one of the KU series - very reasonable tyres. :)

I was joking when I mentioned my semi slicks - however they are road legal (except when they reach the tread levels I have on mine right now anyway.....)
