would an exhaust of an audi fit?

Featured Replies

was behind a 2.0tdi audi A4 estate this morning with a twin exahust. got me thinking if it has the same engine as a skoda would the twin exhaust not fit straight onto an octavia estate with the obvious bumper modifications?

The A4 is based on a different floor plan I think.

I don't think so because as trundlenut says, it is based on a different floor pan.

What year A4? Depending on year, it could be based on any one of at least 3 different floorpans, one of which is similar to the Octy 2. Having said that, the rear overhang is still possibly different, and fairly critical for fitting a chavvy (at least with a straight 4 or 6 cylinder configuration) split exhaust or even a "normal" one.

Not sure on year. I quite like double exhausts to be honest and dont think you can called them chavvy when more and more up marked cars are now having them. They look nice on the octy 3.

the octy 2 is based on the golf floor pan, al be it slightly changed for the length

Probably best just getting a custom system knocked up of you want a correct fitting dual exit.

the exhaust for a mk5 jetta is interchangeable with the mk2 octy.

dual exhausts on the mk2 will be a custom job. plus u'll need to remove/cut the tow hook,

speaking of......

I haven't seen it myself, but I have been told that the twin exhaust on the mark 3 VRS is actually cosmetic only. The offside one is a pure visual unit only, and not connected to the main exhaust system.

It's not fake on the TSI mk3 vRS.

It is on the TDI.
