Any fault codes?

I had it put on computer before I had this fitted and that was what it told me, front left abs sensor

Could it be the wiring that leads to the sensor

Don't forget that the handbrake light also tells you your brake fluid level is low, if it is.

it needs to go on the computer again, there is obviously still a fault somewhere. Someone local to you may have a copy of VCDS and can do it without the need for a garage. If you pop into the diagnostics forum, look through the post at the top with VCDS owners.

Have you checked the fuses on top of battery

Well had it checked on diagnoses today and it's the abs control module, have to find a cheap one now, apparently to much heat from the original abs switch got up to the module, thanks for you help and I hope this comes in useful to sum, cheers Michael
