I have jumped on the band wagon following all of the hype this product is getting. My parcel for cleanyourcar arrived this morning containing this:

I gave the car a quick wipe over and literally sprayed this on and wiped it off...

It's sooooo good! Unbelievable how it can bond with the paint so very quickly and have such good hydrophobic properties.

This is my new favourite product... As if I don't spend too much time detailling the car already :(

Don't hesitate. Just buy it. Simples.

Got this from Waxybox ages ago. Used it on the whole car yesterday after sealing. Very good and easy to use.

Oh yes, peer pressure is such a powerful thing. I too have had to place an order for the most revered detailing product on these hallowed pages. Hopefully it'll arrive tomorrow!

I'm low on funds so haven't bought the last few boxes. Saw the teaser photo that Waxybox posted, exactly the same photo Autofinesse posted of them filling the samples.

I find waxybox helps me spend less money, if I have a few new samples to play with, it saves me buying full size just to try something new.

Don't be mislead, Sonax BSD is purely a top up to protection.

 

I find that I need BSD and also another more versatile QD like Citrus Bling, Chem Guys Speed Wipe or Meg's Last touch for more general duties like drying aid, polish wipe down, pad priming, clay lubing etc.

 

BSD is too thick and grabby for most other jobs than being an amazing spray sealant/QD

That's all I'm after it for. Just something to use once it's clean to prolong the wax durability. If it makes things more shiny and improves the beading so much the better

I guarantee Martin..you will leave here on Monday as a very happy Bunny!!

And it lasts ages. Gave the Micra a blast of this weeks and weeks ago and it's still beading away nicely.

Octy gets a top up every 3 weeks ish.

Switched to Auto Finesse Final after running out of BSD, Made a new order from CYC last night and BSD was back on the list.

I've just ordered this. When do I add it? I usually use Collinite Wax, so is this a replacement?

Nope, wax as normal and then a wipe over with this too 'top it up' are the instructions that everyone seems to follow.

Well my bsd has just turned up but since my German is as good as my knitting I've got a couple of quick questions.

Is it literally spray in and wipe/buff off? And what can/can't it go on? Is it ok on trim and glass etc?

Exactly that put it on everything. Do it as your last step. Protects everything.

Spray on wipe off.

Well just done the bonnet so I can compare it when I give it a blast with the jetwash at work tomorrow.

Not any shinier but the cars white so no surprises there. The paint doesn't feel as glossy as it did before. Ah well, see how it goes.
