First time owner.

Recommended by friends, replacing a Renault.

Its a November 2010 1.6dti CR Octavia Estate, Elegance spec, in tidy condition.

91,000 on the clock - FSH.

Last service was dealer in Nov 2013 - no belt changed, dealer suggests it wil be fine till at least next service, ( in 10,000 miles or Nov 14) & probably even the one after ... any of the experts here got thoughts on this?

Step 1. Install the free VW Pre Compiled Database located on the download section of this site to your PC: https://free-speed-cam-updates.web2diz.net/ Step 2. Unzip/extract the files on your PC and copy the contents of the resulting folder onto a SD card. What it says on the tin, really; recently my oil warning light came on, flashed a few times, made a really loud intermittent beeping sound, and then turned off again. This happened several times during a journey, but actually stopped after a little while. I checked the oil level, and its fine, so I reckon it's an issue with the oil pressure sensor/switch (I did get an OBD tool, but that came up as no error codes, so I'm really in the dark here). I already had a lot of help to fix broken gear selector - thanks! I also found that the passenger side front suspension spring has broken - so I'm off to the garage for that! However, electrical issues ongoing. Here's the story: skoda octavia mk3 2013 tdi estate Car sat for 8 months. AGM battery flat and won't recharge New AGM battery Not recoded as yet.
