Got paid to drive my v6  

Day off so went down the tip with garden rubbish, oh the excitement!

Chauffeured the wife to work, even though she has a perfectly good fiat 500 sat outside the house.  Reason?  "I like to travel in style sometimes"  can't blame her at all :p

Had a play with VCDS....

 

Coded the towing electrics I added at the weekend.

Set XDS on

Changed coming home lights to use fogs not xenons

Generally had a good rummage around :-)

 

Reassuring to have no faults and the soot mass in the DPF nice & low.

Fitted these this week. Look's good and an easy fit (I used two pack epoxy glue to be sure) ...

Fitted the tow bar for the first time and took a trailer and race car for a trip out

 

Just needed to know everything was working before I set out for St Gallen in Sitzerland in 3 weeks time.

They look good. Haven't seen them on super skoda before, and at €90 similarly priced to the van style ones with the split rear. How do they look when on?

Quite good actually, from the outside the windows almost look like tinted but from the inside you can obviously see that they are made from fabric. Right now I have some wrinkles on the big rear one, exactly as there is in the mounting video on YouTube ...

 

 

The rest of them look better and I will try to stretch the fabric over the metal frames after a few days.

 

Here in Sweden €90 for a complete kit is just a fraction of the price Skoda offers their counterpart for ...

• Rear doors - €140
• Rear side windows - €145
• Trunk window - €100

So it's a pretty easy choice, at least for me!

Good man!  My 2nd batch of 10 turned up yesterday.  Planning on fitting them under the side mirrors tomorrow, weather permitting.

Today is my Superb's birthday 1Year Old now

Turned exactly 22 222km on the dash and made a picture of it.

 

After that, took it for a complete wash. Birthday cake and wine will come later in the evening

Join Freedom and you will get much better posting allowances and the ability to edit posts as well as discounts, extra forums, free stickers etc.

Otherwise just use photo bucket or a similar hosting site... upload to there and then copy and paste the image url on your post
