As per the title really - swirl marks from delivery in the gloss black plastic window surrounds on Octy 3 VRS and Leon 3. Any solutions to remove these?

Considering using micro mesh or t-cut as per Perspex polishing.

Usual tactic for paint polishing will work, only don't put as much effort in as they clean up a lot quicker than paint.

I'm assuming by hand rather than machine polish on a slow speed?

Personally I would machine polish for the even finish, but that's because I have all the gear at my disposal - I just know from personal experience of doing similar covers, they needed very little work to remove the swirls, compared to paintwork.

Okay thanks. More than happy with machine polishing the paintwork. Will try an inconspicuous area first - like the wife's Leon.
