Light switch for fogs

Featured Replies

Maybe its just me being dense, but the manual seems to contradict itself ?

It says to pull out the light switch for rear fogs, also says that for front fogs, so I assume it turns both on.

If that's the case, what are the two fog light (according to manual) positions on the switch left of "off" for ?

Also ... on a related note ... is there a way to disable DRL's when switch is in off, but enable with the switch on auto ?

If you pull the dial out one notch it's one fog light, then out a bit more for both. Can't remember whether you get front or rear first.

I believe its front fogs on first notch pull and rear on second notch

Ah, yep that makes sense, now I read it again it kind of says that, but not particularly clearly *well that's my excuse and I am sticking to it :p

Thanks you two

Have folk lost the art of "try and find out"?! (I'm just being cheeky and smileys don't work on the iPad!)

Lady V and the Lobster are correct - pulling out the switch one click puts the front fog lights on (with the associated symbol on the dash) and a further pull gives a second click and puts the rears on (again with symbol on the dash too). Turning the light switch the "0" will reset everything to off. Saying that, I leave mine in auto so I guess I'll have to switch the fogs on and off manually which seems odd since the lights with be automatic!

DRL'S can be disabled, atleast for xenons, probably for halogens too,, using infotainment, but then if its off, its always off.

As above, 1st pull is for front fogs, pull further for front and rear. Cant select just rear

Cheers, yep DRL's I can turn of in infotainment, but as you say on or off only, I just thought it would be handy to have the option on the light-switch. Obviously Skoda didn't

Ah cool, at least that's something that can be done at dealer, thanks Andyvee
