After 5 months of waiting, the end is finally on the horizon.

Ordered 16th of October 2013. 
 

Got a nice phone call today from the third salesman I've been passed on to at Westover Skoda Bournemouth, who said my car was built late last week, and is on its way.

He then asked when I expected to take delivery, and given that 3-4 weeks from build seems to be the norm, I said just that.

Apparently they've managed to pull a few strings and suchlike, and I'll be in it by the end of the month! Giving about two weeks from build to delivery, which, IF it happens, will be quite impressive. 

So in less that two weeks today, I should be in my new car. 

As expected, pictures and so on will be posted when it arrives

31st has been and gone. 

Car FINALLY arrived at the dealership on the 4th April. 

I am, at long last, collecting the car this week on Wednesday 9th.
