Glitch with the maxidot

Featured Replies

Had a strange glitch with the maxidot last night while making a hands free phone call, in that shortly after the call connected the maxi switched from the driving data speed readout to scrolling through the high level menu (driving data, audio, etc.) at quite a quick rate akin to a slot machine.

After doing this twice in quick succession it settled on the audio file and then displayed the track information from the song that had been playing from the SD card prior to the phone call.

After finishing the call I tried to get back into the high level menus but found I could only use the audio menu. Got an opportunity at some red lights to turn off the engine and restart but this failed to clear the issue. However after a further 5 minutes or so of driving everything went back to normal and I was able to change to the high level menu's.

Note the car does not have steering wheel controls being an SE, so I know I didn’t accidently press anything to cause this to happen. Also quite rare for me to use the phone while driving, so the first time I've observed this occurrence.
