I don't think they were fitted in the much slower Estate mk1 VRS's ............. Waits for Daves reply !

No they weren't deemed essential as they only had 16" wheels.

i need the nearside one if anyone has one they are throwing away!!!!!!

 

I'll be throwing some away because I can't get them off the damned car due to the whole spinning bolt thing. :(

yeah them captive nuts can be a pain in the holiest of holes .....
