Darksides golf been robbed of bits..

Featured Replies

Was anything else stolen? Seems odd that parts from the golf was all that was stolen!

Might sound odd, but maybe it was easier to strip the parts than to try and steal the car itself (and less easy to trace).

Course, the amount of time to strip the parts listed from the car would mean having a a load of tools, an accomplice and somewhere where they wouldn't be seen working away without fear of being disturbed........where was the car when this happened?

Some on facebook have suggested looking a litte closer to home for the oiks.......I'd be inclined to agree, given what it would have taken to pull it off.

Sad state of affairs, whichever way.

Definitely agree they need to look close to home. Shouldn't be massively difficult to find out who it was as they are mainly custom bits.

Its not a road car . . And the engine is still broken as far as im aware, so it will have been at there unit. . But there unit is at the back of quite a large "compound" type of industrial estate with a long run in road, so quite a distance to the main road. . Once they were over the fence they could have probably worked all night undisturbed. . .

The biggest explanation is there unit is in barnsley lol.

Makes my blood boil that people cant just leave other peoples possessions alone and have to do crap like this.

It will be an inside job !

From what I've seen of their prices, they've been robbing customers for years. Karma paying them back?

And the alarm on the premises/unit?  I can't see them being able to have insurance without an alarm given the business......over the fence or not, I smell fish.

Not convinced this is something you should say in public, and as someone who has bought many things from Darkside, you get what you pay for.  ;)

Shared far and wide through the stolen vw register

Here here ! It's as if he's condoning the theft there of ?

Just been reading the comments on facebook, the only items bolted in were the steering wheel and the seat. Everything else was stockpilled in the rear of the car waiting to be fitted and it was parked in there yard.
