What colour do I need?

Featured Replies

So once I've actually got my Fabia, and got the cambelt and pump replaced, I'll be looking at styling. As with most owners on here, I want it to be a bit more personal than it is now.

I've thrown in a couple of tweaks in photoshop - I think I'll be looking at getting the fog light inserts resprayed to match the grill fins (matt black?), and I'll get the wheels (which are a little tatty) refurb'ed and resprayed.  I want to keep a gloss finish - nothing as matt as the image, that's just my lazy photoshop work - and go for a dark grey/silver, but definitiely not black.

Can anyone suggest a colour finish close to the image below? (e.g. asnthracite, shadow chrome, gunmetal, etc - I don't know how dark each one is) If you have pictures that would be even better.

I want to pop a cupra splitter on there too, but not fussed about photoshopping that in just yet.

Cheers.

I favour Anthracite wheels, my car is silver too.

Ah, that's spot on.  Cheers Kenny.  So that's plain, simple anthracite?

Fog inserts look much better too. Is there a guide anywhere on how to get those resprayed and what colour is needed to match the other parts of the grille?

The wheels were anthracite, I bought new fog light surrounds as they come black.

Stoopid. Hadn't even considered this. Always jump to the tricky option.  I'll wait till I've picked up the car and give local Skoda garage a ring.  Cheers again
