TFSI engine rebuild?

Has anybody done a full rebuild or at least some engine repairs (pistons, rings, journals, crank, etc.)?

Is this engine (BWA) even considered rebuild-able due to its block construction?

I read a while ago that replacing just the piston rings helps reduce oil consumption to a minimum.

Hi everyone, I have a 2016 Skoda Octavia 1.2 TSI with Climatronic, and I'm encountering a frustrating A/C issue. Problem: After driving at highway speeds (90 km/h or higher) for a prolonged time, the A/C stops cooling. The air coming from the vents is the same flow volume but no longer cold, although the system appears to still be "on." However, when I drive in city traffic or idle in a traffic jam, the A/C works perfectly and cools the cabin as expected. What I’ve Checked: No fault codes in the

Whilst in France last week my car received an infotainment update, The car is a 2024 Octavia Vrs diesel hatchback, with a reversing camera retrofitted by East Yorkshire Retrofit. After the update two odd things happened. Firstly the reversing camera did not work at all the first time I reversed the car after the update. Then it worked, but instead of the full screen showing the camera view, it is now two thirds camera view and one third a top-down outline of the car with curved lines showing the
