The front alloys on my 1.9 tdi have small rectangular weights on the inside flat rim area , ( not the normal edge of tyre balance ones ) noticed at the weekend that one was missing from front offside , should these be replaced and will it be a dealer warranty job as the car is only 10 months old .? !!

These are for balancing and are used on alloys as their not unsightly as per the weight on the rims...I believe....I'm not sure what a dealer would do.

Probably easier jsut to get the wheel rebalanced at your local tyre dealer.
