Hi all, 

  I am having problems with my central locking system, sometimes it will open other times it will not, sometimes it will lock and sometimes it won't, sometimes when I lock it up at night it has opened itself the next morning.  I had a new battery fitted to my remote incase it was that but no!

  Is anyone aware of this or similar problems with the Octavias locking system ?

  I would be grateful of any help that you can offer me.

Try the control unit inside the drivers door, this is prone to filling with water and causing all kinds of problems

That sounds about right as I have noticed that it is more problematic after it has been raining.
