I've ordered heated windscreen washers as a factory option. It seems that washers are proper as I checked their numbers (the same as for Octavia II) - photos attached.

I decided to check if they work properly, as we had 0,5 Celcius degree today in Poland, but washers were totally cold when i touched them. In my previous car (BMW) heaters were clearly warm when working.

Heater mirrors and rear screen were working properly in the same time.

Is anybody able to check if heated washers get warm in low temperatures? What ambient temperature allows heated washers to be activated? Is there any fuse to be checked (I don't see any info in Skoda manual)?

Good question. Do they come on automatically when it's very cold, or just when you have the heated screen on?

According to the manual they should be turned on automatically below 10 degrees of Celcius - I've just found it. So mine seem to be faulty :/. I will probably contact dealer tomorrow.

If you've ordered just heated washers without the winter pack/heated screen I don't think they come on automatically they only come on when you turn on the heated mirrors with the switch on the mirror adjusters on the drivers door

I don't think you can. I wanted the heated washers but not the heated screen and I was not allowed the option. I was allowed the heated seats though.

You can, because I did! It was £30 on my vrs tdi hatch. I have heated washers but not seats or screen. 

Yeah I'm pretty sure you can spec the seats and washers as individual items. It's only when you want the screen that you have to have all three.

I know as I've got heated seats that will never be used!

I couldn't in September. I could order ACC though.

You are able to order heater washers without heated screen in Poland. In fact for 1.4TSI you are not able to order heated screen :/
