Big brake kit under development... HUB needed urgently!

Featured Replies

As per title Wilwood dynalite kit 4 pot piston brake kit currently in development .....

I'm working with the chap who is getting this together, callipers, pads, braided hoses all sourced ...

Just lacking the carriers... These obviously need to be custom made by his engineer that's all we need to get the ball rolling

Urgently require the wheel HUB complete for the fabia VRS..... Even if anyone can loan one out il make sure you get it back :)

Here's a look at what it will look like..... If this goes well the seller may be doing a kit for the Fabia VRS. Its under £500 with braided hoses

This kit will be developed to work with current 288mm discs ,,,,, watch this space :D

Wilwood kits are quality and alot of guys I know run them on other vehicles, I want to stop o a penny before I roam into the realm of power

Power is nothing without control ;)

Will they be realising one that work with 312mm brakes?

I will 100% be interested in buying these as soon as they come out, my birthday next month also happy days !

Errrm if it's 312mm kit it will be the Superlite kit which is bigger callipers that go with 324mm discs

I'm only going with what was available on my old car, celica t sport.... So I'm just wanting to get these brakes done and fitted after which I will post up a review

I'm not touting on behalf of seller lol

We just need the hub to get moving :)

As Dan says most people have upgraded to 312 so would make a better base as an upgrade

I agree with DarkHero and Danham...312's will be better

suppose but given the cost of this kit it suited me as its a budget big brake kit so to speak, it will deffo look smart under the wheels and offer me way better stopping power, not to mention the fact that pads and discs will be cheaper to replace,

each to their own I guess,

Anyone with a HUB then?? lol

288's better for me, weigh less than 312's also which is a bonus ! Haha. Keep us posted on these V.interested

I have a pair of Fabia vRS hubs sitting around doing nothing if they are of any use?

P.M me if you like

The size of the disk don't matter asking as they fit the caliper and the caliper fits under your wheels I will be running 330mm disk with my tarox 6pots under 17" wheel but I now the caplier will fit under standard vrs wheels so will get a pic once car on the road of the 330mm with them under the standard 16" wheels

INTERESTED! ! mainly for the looks and the fact there willwood. . .im not running enough power to warrant 312's

Surely these paired with a good set of "fast road" discs and pads would be equally as good as 312's?

I heard peeps using the 312 upgrade from Audi TT, Are those callipers not single pot?

These are 4 pot and incredibly light, only thing would be, no dust boots because this is a performance calliper, meaning at high temps ans track days dust boots will lose their integrity and diminish

All that needs doing is the occasional clean up with brake cleaner and toothbrush :)

Standard callipers tend to use aluminum these use stainless steel :D

Hub has been very kindly loaned to me by joe, so shud have the kit real soon....

I reckon these will look the bees knees under the wheels

I've got a 330mm BBK for the Yeti and it fits under the OEM 17" rims.
