Hi I'm after a set of 4 185 55R 14's any ideas on a good place online or otherwise please

Last time I had a set I used Blackcircles.com I found the service brilliant, one of the best prices around and they delivered to a local garage where they were fitted.

I got a set of tryes for our Leon from camskill. Saved me £18 a corner compared to a local tyre place. Very quick delivery and they sent them to my work as no one would be in at home.

I find I can get the best deal by finding the price from Blackcircles, and then talking to the person they use for fitting locally. Mine has always undercut BC.

 

Remember that they will make more profit selling you a tyre than the £10 or less they get from BC for fitting them.

I've used tyreshopper for quite a few years now. Just ordered a full set of Avon ZZ5's for mine from them yesterday.

I think the key is to have separate browsers open with mytyres, camskill, blackcircles and oponeo open, and see which one is best value for money.  This is what I do nearly every time, although I am pretty fussy about which tyres I get.

Different places are cheaper depending on what brand. Probably best to decide which tyre first then which shop TyreFactors were cheaper for my RS3s but my SnowTracs came from MyTyres...

I've used Topgear Tyres via Ebay, 24hr. delivery but all the above are recognised discounters.  Take your choice.

Do you recognize the make or are they simply 'unbranded'?

 

I know there are some oddities in pricing and some sizes are cheaper than others, but for my 16s I was looking at £200 a set for anything mid-range.

+1 for black circles again, ordered a set of uniroyal rainsport3s at 4pm arrived next day at 12pm who can complain at that?

Did pay about£15 extra compered to opoeno though but they were 48hr delivery as i had 1.6mm left sooner the better really.
