1 more day with the yeti

Featured Replies

That's it just 1 more day of yeti fun before I move onto my octavia combi 1.4 tsi. It was too good a chance to take. I've had 15 good months with my 1.2 tsi se with the only problems being a ht lead replacement and the rear doors needing respraying and foils fitted which was done free as a gesture of goodwill. It's only now it's approaching 5 yrs old and and even though it's had 2 turbos and a new timing chain and water pump with its previous owner it's still rattling on occasion and I've noticed the paint blistering on the front door so it's time to set it free. I'll miss the way it handles, it's the easiest car I've ever driven but I wanted something with a bit more poke and I wasn't getting very good economy out of town. I made sure it got my vote on the driver power survey anyway.

Sounds like you've had a bit of a lemon mate.

Sorry to hear your getting rid of it.

Better luck with the octy.

Make the most of it tomorrow, then, Andy - but drive especially carefully....

Good luck with the Octy!

I don't regret buying the yeti. It's been a fantastic car for driving around town but for now the octy will suit my needs better. I can certainly see myself as a proud owner of another yeti sometime in the future.
