1.6 tdicr Wahler EGR valve testing, pinout? P2425

Featured Replies

My 2011 1.6 tdi cr 75 seems to have the very common EGR issue. MIL comes on, once cancelled reappears after a few restarts.

Since it's a ball ache to remove and I rely on this car on a daily basis I bought a dud EGR setup to see what the issue is likely to be before I tackle it on my car.

The mechanical valve seems to move freely, the electronic valve is a bit sticky in the middle. I believe this is the issue but cannot be certain so I want to test before and after cleaning.

I can't find any info on the tinterweb about the actual failed part regarding these valves so if anybody does know, feel free to share your thoughts.

My question

Does anyone know what each pin on the valve is so I can bench test the valve?
