Nothing to declare

Just gave the car a wash and noticed loads of little spiders in the near side headlight. Anyone else had this problem? I'm gonna phone the dealer on Monday for advice.

The lights are vented, so this is how they would have got in i assume.

Not quite sure what you expect the dealer to do mind?

like I said "ADVICE" might be helpful

First they'll insert a bird to swallow the spiders.

Then a cat to swallow the bird

Then a dog to swallow the cat.

etc.

etc.

etc.

Eventually they'll have to make it swallow a horse. Unfortunately by then it will be dead of course.

According to my teenage son, all I need to do is tape a picture of Chuck Noris to the headlight over night, and the spiders would've disappeared by the morning. Helpful that.

I have had those pesky little blighters for about a month now in both lights but unless you take the light apart and clean then dry with a hair dryer I thought that there was very little if anything about it. They seem to have died and will in time just dry up and as I do not intend to strip the lights especially as they have a lot of expensive kit in them I will leave alone.

I'm gonna give it a good blast of fly spray tomorrow, see if that does anything.

It may kill them if they are not already dead or soon will be as they have nothing to feed on except each other but the spray may coat things in the light that could prove expensive!

Point taken, I'll Hold off on the fly spray.
