Count me in...

I can overtake any parked Veyron any day of the week... Pfft, you noobs!

Hi guys, I got the wife a new octy vrs estate! Turns up next week so really can't wait to pick it up. Question is, I know it's under warranty and that but I want to map it! But that'll affect the warranty so is there anything I can do which I can just take off or delete before it goes in for servicing an that.

Don't underestamate FWD and big power, these new cars defiantly know how to put it down

Umm not really, try and do that in my TSI VRS and you just get massive wheel spin in 1st and 2nd...

To answer your question, you can't map it yet. Only tuning boxes are available atm.

The TDi is about right... my previous petrol car was about 0.5 seconds quick to 60 than the Octavia, and I can just about tell the difference.  That said, it has a bucketload more torque and feels quicker in real-world acceleration.

That said, the noise enhancement jobbie probably knocks about 5 seconds off it's time....  I love that noise (albeit fake, but who's to know?).

As you will in any FWD car, yes a trick diff like the Golf GTi has got stops the scrabble but only by limiting power. That's why anything much more than 200bhp is entirely wasted in a FWD car - especially in the traffic lights grand prix. Once rolling, mid range with the torque of a modern turbo engine no problem.
