Hmmmm, must have been nicked for its engine. :confued:

Mine came from an 04 plate, so can assure you its not me. ;)

If it was more local that might be a cheap way to get the vRS seats / alloys & other goodies? ;)

Hmmm - Looks well dodgy actually! Seems someones chopped out the left hand side inner wing! I bet this was a donor car to get a damaged repairable vRS back on the road, that had previosuly had a major shunt to the front left! :( Can't bear to think someone may have bought a cheap vRS and its used parts from this nicked car to get it back on the road....

Stick your PD100 engine in it J, then you can have one of each :)

I should imagine what has happened is that its been in an accident hitting the n/s front. The bodyshop have removed the engine and gearbox etc to get the car on the chassis jig. Then realised the chassis is bent and written it off?

I hope you're right mate. :) Both chassis legs look in good nick though and the front left alloy too. I'm just suspicious of the missing n/s inner wing. Anyway, my other engine is now in a Ford Galaxy, working happily.

Looks pretty new doesn't it.

Probably Spot on, It was stripped ready to repair then they found something & totalled it. Engine is with it but all the rest of the bits are in the scrap bin somewhere.

Last bid on the internet was 2400, If it dosent get more than this at todays Auction someones got a good buy for a rebuild.

I don't fancy safely rebuilding that crumpled inner wing though. If I had retained my wreckage there was a nicely untouched inner wing I could have used. :D

History now - Its gone, so I shan't dwell on it. :)
