Featured Replies

Bought my car!!

Went down to London today to pick her up.. Absolute beauty 12 plate Candy White with a black roof and black Gigaro alloys,9272 miles on the clock and great spec.

Parking sensors

Heated seats

Rear windows

Third rear headrest

Bluetooth telephone preparation

Climate Control

£9000k :))

Very happy with my purchase and was worth going over my budget for.. Guess I'll have to save a bit more now for my deposit on a house. I'll certainly be saving fuel now as I'm used to the r32 doing 19 mpg runs ha

Well done mate, welcome to the Mk2 Fabia club.

My advice would be to not open any thread with oil in the title :)

Best way to enjoy Brisky

9k is an awesome price on a vRS of that age and mileage. Hats off to you for finding that one! Enjoy.

Rear windows are an option over there? You blokes really do get poverty pack base models. :giggle:

Thanks for the warm welcome

This would of been ideal but I missed out on it on a couple of days

Main dealership 2 miles from me.. Rallye Green 10 plate with 40k miles just £7479

The owners were a real nice family as well.. And definitely looked after the car, it still smells new :o

They don't seem to be holding there value unlike the wv polo GTI or Audi a1 185bhp editions. The Seats are dropping in price also as people cannot shift them

Odd to say not holding value. If someone paid 16,000 and can still trade in for better than 50 percent. Polo git that were 22.000 upwards and a1 185ps at 23.000 up are not selling or van be had for around hrs prices. Asking prices mean nothing. Look at what 'v w and Audi sell for not what the get advertised at.

V r s prices

Looking at prices they are pretty much where I'd expect them to be i.e. depreciation has been average. Anyway, I bought mine at a year old and plan to keep it till it's five years old - even at zero resale I couldn't grumble too much given that it didn't cost me a great deal in the first place. There are many cars out there that'll burn your money faster.

Bought mine as demo car with 2000 miles on the clock, sold it in a PX (Skoda deal) two years later at 28500, recovered 70% of purchase price.

Was pretty happy with that, having had a great fun and pleasurable two years motoring.
