TT rarb...will it fit?

Featured Replies

just wondering, have found a cheap rarb from a tt 225, will it fit the vrs or do I have to go with a 2wd mk4 roll bar? Also do upper front strut braces make much difference without a beefier farb? Cheers

If its just a standard rarb I don't think they are any thicker than the arb that's already on your car. Does it say what diameter it is? As for the stut braces, I can't say for just the upper one alone because I fitted the upper and lower s3 braces and they make a big difference. The front of the car feels a lot more planted. I would recommend both tbh.

i thought the vrs didn't have a rear anti roll bar s standard? thanks for the info on the front braces!

The 225 hp TTs are 4wd. It will not fit on a vrs. On the rear you need to go for a 2wd bar, all of which are aftermarket as far as I know.

The Octavia vrs does have a rarb as standard. Its fitted onto the rear axle beam. If you get underneath your car you'll see it hiding! But I don't think there very good that's why people fit thicker aftermarket bars. Most on here highly recommend fitting rear bars even before suspension upgrades.

Don't think the OP mean the bar  in the rear beam

All 4x4 VAG platforms (Octy 4x4, R32, S3, TT225 etc) have a external RARB that is not interchangeable for 2WD cars.

OP will need to get a aftermarket RARB for the VAG 2WD platform. Look up VW Golf MK4 as best option
