Arm rest, sun glasses, knobs. etc.

Featured Replies

Hey guys I picked my fabia up on tuesday and i kinda love it, mainly for the fact how cheap it is to run!!

a few things are bugging me. The interior is lacking a few things.

where can i pick up;

1. A centre arm rest?

2. Sunglasses case to replace grab handle (Gay i know Haha)

3. Is it possible to change the knobs on the manual climate control unit? e.g ford had some really high quality alloy parts which i ended up changing to.

there are a few things but they arent really important now.

Regards

Matthew

Some people find the centre arm rest gets in the way.  I think it does, my Dad had it on his last one, but didn't option it on his current one.

You can get the sunglasses holder from the dealer (or they can order it) - £15 or so.  They wil probably fit for peanuts, or do it at the next service (I don't think it's hard to do on your own).

Someone else asked about changing dials to the climatronic display for air con and I think the outcome was it wasn't worth the hassle - try the search function with air-con/climatronic.

'grats on collecting the vRS, looks well.

^^ basically what he said on the Sunglass Holder, apart from you can almost certainly fit yourself.

Original arm rests can be had from the likes of Superskoda, Skodaparts etc just google.

I haven't seen anyone change out the dials on the manual aircon, mostly because I don't believe there is a natural OEM donor for these to come out of.  Only route may be aftermarket china/ebay.  If they are out there at all.

Some Eibach springs would be a worthy investment

Interested in the ebach springs, im guessing you rate them highly?

for the price of the armrest i may as well invest in the springs haha.

Don't let them tell you "It's not for your specific model!" as they are the same for all Skoda cars, range wide... in either Grey/white or Black

Completely agree, fitted mine in around a minute! And it's a black one to go with the black trim on my monte

I must say a superb choice of colour, you clearly have very good taste! And welcome!

A set of mud flaps off eBay might be worth a look, there from china but don't be afraid of that, mine turned up really quick, quality is very acceptable and they won't brake the bank, I only needed the rears as have genuine skoda jobbies on the front, had the hole they don't the vrs sir from dealer, so I politely told them they don't know there products very well and bought elsewhere.

Enjoy the car!

the listing is still live.

i had a set of the cheap china mudflaps before, then changed to genuine oem mudflaps - which turned out to be tougher/nicer plastic and actualy wider, covering the whole tire width instead of 2/3rds width the china ones did.
