This is how I'm spending

Featured Replies

OK so after selling an old range rover, I'm left with £100 (more or less) to play with. So I've been given a cone filter to play with, if I like it I'll spend £25 for a heat shield, found a tt front upper brace for £28 (maybe less) and a creation quick shift £40. Rest of the car is standard. If I don't get the strut brace I'll do the grill surround black and get some custom pastyboy badges. I don't think thats a bad way to spend £100 really!

Have you got a rarb? If not that is what you need first, totally transforms the car

Not yet, thats what I want to get asap, but no used ones around and no funds for a new one as yet!

True but to get one for £100 is not likely as the they are not always up second hand.

True I was lucky that mine came up at the right time

Keeping my eyes out, otherwise I'll stump up for a new whiteline if i can afford! The upper strut should do something on it's own till then!

Not bad, make it corner a bit better, go a bit better and shift a bit better :) just make sure you get the gear linkages right as they can be a pain

Everything on here tells me it's pretty straight forward? And creation send detailed instructions according to the website, little bracket doesn't look too intimidating, then again I have never fitted one! Glad you all think it's a good way to spend the money. Seems you go quite far for very little with these cars, that is before the bug really bites...

If it is like the forge one then it is dead simple. Just perform a linkage adjustment after which is my guide in techie section.
