Octavia vRS detailing

Featured Replies

This morning I took a nice drive to go see ChrisRs and get my F/L Octavia vRS detailed :)

There was a few light scratches, some deep :(  but Chris managed to get rid of most :)

Didn't get any before pics and only took two pics during :D

As usual another perfect example of Chris's work.

Another one for the portfolio I think.

Good work!

Considering the forecast today you have had it lucky!

There was a couple of showers but luckily didn't cause any problems

Really good job, looks very slick.

Looking like a good place to visit :D

ps. 'ChrisW' Where on earth is/are your Brisky sticker(s) hiding???????? Get that sorted ASAP!

pps. Numberplate looks better in ChrisRS's pics :P

Another brilliant job Chris. The VRS looks great in silver.

lovely job, shame your based in West Yorkshire Chrisrs, little bit far for a drive!

Thanks...It is a little far

Nonsense!

Worth a drive, if not just to sample real ale and gods own county ;)

CU soon then Damo ;)

Looks great.

Not a bad finish there - silver is a tricky colour... how much does this sort of detailing work cost?

Could be interested sometime in summer...

Glad I could help Chris

Thanks for contacting me again

Car liberally sprayed with APC...and under wheel arches

Snow Foamed with Valet Pro pH Neutral Snow Foam and washed with MucOff uber shine Shampoo

Wheels were pretty bad (& in need of refurbishment)...so attacked with Wonder Wheels cleaner and then Hot Wheels Iron off ...Sealed later with G3 Ceramic Sealer and Sonax BSD

A few small scratches and the usual swirls rectified with my Rotary and a 3M Spot Compounding pad

Followed this with a medium 3M pad on my DA...Paintwork cleaned up nicely

Finished with a coat of Autobrite Hellshine Abyss Sealer and a couple of coats of Sonax BSD

Windows cleaned with Megs Ultimate Glass Cleaner

Tyres dressed with Megs Ultimate Tyre Shine

Engine wiped down with Armourall Plastic Protectorant

Tailpipes polished with Autosol Metal Polish

Took some pics myself:

Nice Job

Can't see Alan in the Photo's Chris........

Nice Job

He was busy buying a kitchen

Its great result and given that I have being quoted £300+ by the pros;

ChrisRs's price of £150 seems a real bargain for this sort of work!

He really seems to be getting rave reviews and customers from the forum!
