Less Smoke ....

Just to sort of keep this on track, updated.

My car deffinatly runs better on this independant diesel. Have tried shell a few times since, each time leading to more smoke and engine alot rougher than usual :(

I drive 100 miles per day and have always used morrisons diesel in both my vrs that ive owned. Minimal smoke and the car runs great. My old vrs had 110k on it before i wrote it off and my current one has 125k and drives perfect.

Morrisons diesel is £1.32.9 so even better :)

I've not tried super market diesel, due to there petrol being rubbish.

Might try some in mine :)

But, danham's car running on Shell diesel made more power than running on Tesco diesel on the same rolling road with same operator and no other changes to car.

I had a tank of Sainsburys diesel two weeks ago and the car smoked quite a bit, back on Shell V Power Nitro stuff  now and no smoke evident.

This is true, can't remember where I filled up last time because it was over 2 weeks ago! Will be filling up at shell today so see if there is any less smoke, I hope so :(

I'm a Sainsbury's diesel man myself, ran it on v power and it did seem a little smoother and pick up quicker, but for the extra price I didn't think it was worth it and it seemed to use it a bit quicker.

Every so often I chuck some millers Eco boost I and that seems to keep the mpg up a little too :-)

I had some lad on a 125cc bike behind me last night. He was going crazy at the amount of smoke my car was chucking out, all kinds of hand signal then he nearly rear ended me on a roundabout he's lucky he escaped from me after riding like a **** through town :)

My last vRS was bad for that. If I went past people cycling, I'd check the mirror and see them with their head down choking

The only time mine smokes excessively is, if I drive it like a wuss, but since I rarely have my divers boot off for any length of time, it's not a problem my car suffers from, despite continuous use of Morrison's finest.

I wasn't doing it on purpose, he was just being a *****, he tried to over take 3 cars doing 50-60mph then seen his arse because he couldn't get passed us. Who in their right mind tries to do that on a bike with 12hp? Lol

Then he was just riding dangerously close to me, the brake test didn't make him back off so I was going to ask him what his problem was :)
