fitting of a boost gauge.....

Featured Replies

About to fit a boost gauge but have a question first...

I've  bypassed the n249 by fitting a T piece in the line from fpr to dump valve...

The question,,, Is it ok to fit a second T piece for the boost gauge into this line or is 2 lines to much? If u get what I mean...

Or is there another vac port/line I can use?

Job done. Plumbed in works fine...

Even the dimmer function  which is handy

Reads -20 at idle.. boost up to 20 and tails off to around 14-16psi.. also in the process I found a vac line that was leaking so sorted that to

Happy happy

Good stuff mate

Good job buddy.

Maybe your luck has changed

I took my boost gauge feed direct from a spare nipple on inlet manifold

Also fitted my gauge like stealth in my diy A pillar .

I want a pillar pod like that mate but fir  I have it on a stand sort of thingy on the dash with double sided number plate pads lol.. function over style for now.. having a boost gauge isn't about bragging rights to me. It's a handy way of knowing what's going on at the time ect :-)

But the chavvy side of me (which is a small part lol), thinks it feels more like a turbo with a nice gauge in the cockpit lol

Yep buddy sure is, I did not like any of the screw on jobs and wanted to have a more blended in look
