SD Card Navigation

Featured Replies

Is it possible to navigate the folder structure of an SD Card just using the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel? The Infotainment Touch-Screen allows this, but it is not good practice to use it while driving. The steering wheel buttons allow a choice of audio source, and a navigation from one track to another within a selected folder, but I haven't been able to change from the selected folder to another. Does anybody know if there is any click or press that will do this?

Not possible, wheel controls only allow limited infotainment control and control of the Maxidot computer.

Yeah, that's one of the big drawbacks - it's pretty unsafe to try and do this while driving.

You can use the right knob on the infotainment to scroll and push to select, that's what I do with my bolero, much easier than trying to do it with the touch screen.....

What he said. The same for scrolling through your phonebook.

Thanks, everybody, for the feedback. Shame it can't be done using the steering wheel controls. I know about using the r-h control knob on the infotainment centre (scrolling & selecting), but I didn't think there was a way to work back up the folder tree without using the touchscreen.
