I've been thinking for a wee while that my MK2 Octy RS CR might have to go as money is a bit tight. Have spotted this:

Ive been offered 16k grand for mine and have 8k to pay in outstanding fianance so leaves about 8k to spend.

 

So any thoughts about an FSI RS would be muchas appreciated.

I'm not 100% sure but the lad I bought the blueflame exhaust off up in Durham sold an identical one to a lad in Ireland 2 months ago. 18" anthracite wheels with a columbus inside. Has this always had irish plates on ? If not then it could be that car. If you look underneath and the exhaust has a flexi jointer on or some other kind of fix where it was cut off my car to separate over axle then it could be that car, which was a cat d rear end bumped car ! It's probably not but I would hate to see someone pay £7k for a car that was just sold for £3k ! Worth checking before parting with your hard earned cash mate. Nice looking car though I bought mine with 44k miles nearly 2 year ago off a 65yr old family friend and didn't pay that much, obviously no warranty etc.

Thanks for the heads up Dallan. I havent been to see it yet so will check log book and all details if i do decide to go and look at it.

Yes will have paid off the finance on the one im getting rid of and will buy the next one outright ...so saving of 350 euro a month.
