I am selling my Fabia 1.9 130 VRS 2005 54 plate with just 32k on the clock fantastic service history to back the mileage up in black with heated seats (option I believe) otherwise completely standard unmodified car in excellent condition.  Has a reg number ending in VRS as well.  HPi clear.  I have been told that it is worth £5500! With regards to service history:

1. Is the stamped original book present?
2. Is there any other history above and beyond the book (invoice / work sheets etc)?
3. Do you know when and at what mileage timing belt was done and if water pump was done?
4. Also if you have any mention of console bushes having been changed yet and if so when and mileage?
5. Any water ingress into car, rear foot wells dry (common inevitable issue)?
6. Old MOT's etc?
7. 2 remote keys?
8. Any known accident damage repairs, recorded or not? 

 

 

I am in an in-between vRS's place at the moment and on the pull for something like this, as per my signature. 

The service book is a duplicate which on the face of it is suspicious. However, I have thoroughly checked it out and it is absolutely genuine. The first 5 stamps are with sherlodge garage in kent

Sorry pushed wrong button as I was saying sherlodge skoda gillingham in Kent did the pdi plus 4 services plus mot. It was then Beadles skoda Maidstone in Kent who did the next 4 services with cambelt and water pump at 13k in 2010. I have verified this with both garages and I contacted the previous owner who said that was correct also. In fact I just rang Beadles skoda to check the water pump info and they are very helpful if you want to check for yourself.

Don't know about console bushes sorry.

The foot wells are dry but now you mention it the off side back was a bit damp in the winter but I put it down to wet feet as I say seems very dry now!?

One old mot but have checked it all out on vosa

Don't see standard seats that clean very often!!!!

Ref price, I would say the price you've quoted would be what a garage would advertise it for,if you want to sell it for those figures you might be waiting for the right buyer to come along for a while.

As I say that's what I was advised it to be worth I would be looking at offers around the £5000 mark
