Brochure v Web Site. Rapid Elegance Climate.

Featured Replies

The Rapid brochure shows that digital Climate is fitted as standard to the Rapid, but the web site lists it as an extra @ £300. Anyone bought an Elegance recently?

I did ask at my local dealer but seeing as they know I'm looking for a good discount, (I foolishly mentioned that good prices are on offer at several internet brokers) they aren't too helpful and quite frankly I don't think they know anyway!

in GREECE, the digital climate is Standard on Elegance.

from photos of UK members i ve seen, i don't think it's Standard.

Both the downloaded brochure and the configurator show climate control as standard on the Elegance on the Skoda UK website.

Indeed it is Keitht, they've altered it in the last couple of days I'm sure.......though on the web site Rapid 'model page', clicking the 'technology' tab and then 'comfort', it still describes the climate as being optional.

However, it does seem as if 'climate' is standard.

All I need now is to find the £2000 off and 0% credit deal, one or the other seems available but not both together as the 'offers' page implies.

Thanks.

I am sure you get climate FOC on the Elegance. And their web site is inconsistent.

As the worked finance example shows both the £2000 reduction and the 0% I believe they are both available together.

Good luck in your hunt for a deal!

Thanks, though I'm a little nervous inasmuch as could the Rapid be for the chop in the UK list?

Seems generous to give £2k and 0%.

No doubt there'll be caveats, dealer stock only etc.

I don't think so. It's just that SUK overpriced it so there is a lot of margin in it.

Don't think there'll be any caveats with that offer as long as you receive the car before the offer ends, and even that is probably up for negotiation.

Well it seems the deal is genuine and it's not just dealer stock, they'll take my order, only problem is 15 weeks lead time, takes me into the end of July. I really need a motor for early July, none of the current UK stock matches my spec with heated seats being the problem...........

I have an Elegance model (2013 - March) which does have the climatic air conditioning - however some of the early Elegance models I saw at the main dealers only had the standard air con - they were also missing the rear parking sensors. Clear case of buying beware!

Specs do change so check with your dealer.

My Octy Elegance has no front assist. The brochure I have says this is standard. However due to a lack of the parts for this they are manufactured without.

I have just bought a March 2013 Elegance which was manufactured in 2013. No Climate- which I would turn off anyway and no rear sensors - which would be useful.
